The Builders Behind The Milwaukee Motor Channel

The Milwaukee Motor Channel began with a conversation between us and Harley-Davidson builder Jesse Sawyer, owner of Jesse’s Hawg Pen Cycle and Rod Shop. Jesse wanted a way to showcase the custom motorcycles and automotive builds coming out of his shop, but at the time neither of us had a platform to highlight that work.

That conversation led to the creation of The Milwaukee Motor Channel — a place dedicated to documenting the builders, fabricators, and custom shops that drive Milwaukee’s motor culture.

From the beginning, the heart of this channel has been the automotive builders of the Greater Milwaukee Area.

The builders featured on this page are the resident builders of The Milwaukee Motor Channel. They allow us to step inside their garages and workshops to see the real work behind the scenes — the welding, fabrication, wrenching, and creativity that go into every custom build.

While we love covering car shows and bike shows across Wisconsin, we enjoy the process of building and wrenching just as much. These shop visits give viewers a closer look at how custom cars, motorcycles, and hot rods actually come together.
