Milwaukee Motor Channel After Dark hits the road for Episode 11 as we head to Elgin, Illinois, for the Lowriders Takeover Hop & Chill.

This time, we're stepping into a different side of lowrider culture. The cars aren't simply parked and polished for spectators—they're here to compete. With hydraulics working overtime and the crowd gathered around the hop pit, drivers put their cars and their skills to the test to see who can get the biggest reaction and send their lowrider the highest.

But hopping is about much more than hitting a switch.

Episode 11 takes us inside the culture surrounding the competition. We talk with people who have spent years learning the craft and discover the dedication, knowledge and investment required to build a car capable of competing. For some, that passion has meant traveling thousands of miles for only a few minutes in the pit.
